Customer Service & HR Manager - Permanent - Limerick
MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an award-winning organisation, as they look to add a Customer Service & HR Manager to their team, on a full-time, permanent basis.
The role:
As the Customer Service & HR Manager, you will play a key role in driving retail customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
You'll be responsible for overseeing customer service operations to ensure every customer has a positive experience, as well as managing HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, training, and employee relations.
The successful candidate must have hands-on experience and knowledge of Irish legislation.
The main responsibilities:
Customer Service
1. Lead the customer service team to deliver exceptional service across all channels.
2. Monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics and resolve escalated customer issues professionally.
3. Implement and refine customer service policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and satisfaction.
4. Regularly analyse customer feedback and make strategic recommendations for improvements.
Human Resources
1. Manage the recruitment process, from identifying staffing needs to interviewing and onboarding new team members.
2. Develop and deliver training programs to improve customer service skills and product knowledge.
3. Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries, including employee relations, payroll, and benefits.
4. Conduct performance reviews, develop career progression paths, and foster a culture of recognition and feedback.
5. Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies, keeping the team updated on relevant changes.
Undertake any other duties as considered by the company to be within the scope of the role.
The ideal candidate:
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
2. CIPD level 5 (Desirable).
3. 3+ years of experience in a customer service management and/or HR role, preferably in a retail setting.
4. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Knowledge and hands-on experience of HR best practices and Irish employment law.
7. Experience handling employee relations.
