Our client, a leading online distributor delivering exceptional service and an extensive product range to customers across the UK, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Account Manager to join their team and help drive their continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the main contact for the assigned account, building and nurturing strong relationships.
2. Monitor account performance, proactively identifying and addressing any issues or opportunities.
3. Review and manage pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
4. Research and add new product ranges to meet market demand and customer expectations.
5. Work with the purchasing team to negotiate supplier pricing and ensure stock availability.
6. Handle and resolve customer enquiries promptly and professionally.
7. Analyse sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
8. Prepare regular reports on account performance, pricing adjustments, and product sales.
9. Liaise with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and supply chain, to align efforts and achieve company goals.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience in account management is essential, within e-commerce platforms and online distribution.
2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage pricing and identify trends.
3. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
4. Highly organised, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
5. Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, and experience with CRM software.
