About the Role: As a Teacher in our resource provision, you will have the opportunity to work with a small group of 12 Key Stage 2 children, providing tailored, specialist support in a nurturing, inclusive setting. You will work closely with a skilled and supportive team, including speech and language therapists, and teaching assistants, to help each child develop their communication skills and reach their full potential. Children will be expected to attend main stream provision for 50 % of their allocated timetable. You will ensure that each child has a bespoke curriculum offer based on their individual needs. You will be responsible for: Delivering high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to the needs of children. Implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and working collaboratively to track and support each child s progress. Creating a positive, supportive classroom environment that fosters growth, self-esteem, and confidence. Supporting the development of communication and social skills, working both individually and in small groups. Liaising with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child. Leading Annual Reviews for children in your class. Liaising with teachers in the Mainstream classrooms to ensure smooth transitions. Working closely with the SEND and Inclusion team to ensure each child meets their full potential. About You: We are looking for a teacher who is: A qualified teacher with a strong understanding of SEN, specifically speech, language, and communication needs (experience with Key Stage 2 is preferred). Passionate, patient, and empathetic, with the ability to build strong, supportive relationships with children and their families. Experienced in adapting teaching approaches to suit the diverse needs of students and committed to ongoing professional development. Confident in working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for students.
