We are looking to strengthen our Construction team with a Senior Commissioning Manager, Site & Office based within the Severn Trent Region You will report directly to the Operations Director for the Region. Y ou will deliver commissioning planning and commissioning activities for all projects in appointed region through the existing team of experienced commissioning staff. You will also provide ownership of the commissioning process through all stages of a project lifecycle and achieve efficiencies associated with handover to the client. Key responsibilities will include: Resource management within the appointed region Effective engagement with Operations management teams to ensure safe and timely commissioning involvement. Direct management of the hub leaders who provide day to day management and coordination of site based commissioning teams. Management of providing early input to commissioning plans and proposals work. Management of the Process Safety procedures to ensure safe progression into and through commissioning on site. Develop and operate an optimised interface with the MWHT engineering team to ensure “design for commissioning”. Facilitate feedback of improvement information from commissioning. Drive efficiencies and operate tight change control procedures. Monitor, measure and report on performance and drive continuous improvement Develop and improve commissioning processes and systems. About You Relevant degree (electrical, mechanical or process) or other relevant qualification Site experience in commissioning, preferably in water industry Electrical SAP qualification desirable but not required Previous experience as a commissioning manager within a process industry and similar size of company. Experience managing commissioning teams Comfortable and able to commute to all sites within the Severn Trent region Hybrid working - 80% on site or in the office position and 20% work from home depending on the needs of the role.
