The Children’s Country House at Sudbury is all about having fun with history. We’ve worked with children to create a place where they can use their natural curiosity to explore collections and stories that tell us something about the past. In the hall there are activities inspired by the way each room was used. The museum shows how children lived, worked and played over the years. Our offer is unique, deeply authentic and profoundly impactful as is the team that work here.

The core part of your job is to give vital and positive support to your colleagues, wherever you’re needed, with a focus on greeting and helping visitors. No two days will be the same. You can expect to meet many different people and gain experience in different visitor areas. You’ll get involved in all kinds of tasks, including greeting visitors on arrival and provide an amazing day out for children and families.
