Multi-Trade Operative - Plumbing
Banbury based covering the South Midlands
£35,387 - £37,249 per year
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday
We have an opportunity for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our Operations Voids/Responsive team, based in Banbury. In this role you will be responsible for completing works in void properties to a good standard and carrying out general repairs to both void and tenanted properties. The role will include both team and lone working and you will attend up to 10 sites a day. We are looking for a team player with core experience in Plumbing alongside other previous trade role experience however training will be provided where needed.
The role of Multi-Trade Operative will include:
* Attending properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties
* Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
* Maintaining a suitable van stock level and restocking these when needed
* Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works that is easily understood by the customer
Skills and experiences:
* To ensure full compliance with Building Safety legislation, candidates applying for this role must be qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and additional experience in another trade (kitchen and bathroom fitting, plastering, carpentry, flooring) If you have a lower level qualification along with practical experience and would be prepared to undertake this qualification with the support of Sanctuary Group, we would still welcome an application
* Experience in working to deadlines and prioritising work loads
* Previous experience carrying out groundworks is desirable
* Awareness of health and safety regulations and working legislation
* This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
