Job Title: Senior Marketing Consultant Contract Type: 12-month FTC Location: Edinburgh Working style: Hybrid 50% home/office based Closing date: 17th March 2025 We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to join our Employer Marketing team. The role will involve managing the development and delivery of market leading communications targeted at employers and advisers with a particular focus on acquiring new business. You will be responsible for delivering consistently high quality, innovative and relevant communications that engage, enthuse, and inform our target audience. Lead cross-functional campaign teams to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of marketing activity. Ensure the audience view is embedded in all marketing activity across the funnel. Make effective use of data and insight to set campaign objectives and monitor campaign activity, adjusting as appropriate, reporting to Marketing Manager and other relevant senior stakeholders. Manage campaign budgets. Your responsibilities will include Develop compelling bid, pitch and tender responses to create meaningful impact with employers and advisers. Identify the most effective media and communication channels across full marketing mix Day-to-day responsibility for campaigns and initiatives including delivery planning, resource alignment and budget responsibility Managing, planning and delivering key projects within agreed timescales including working with third party agencies on creative development Set clear campaign objectives and measures that align with commercial targets and use data and insights to continuously test, learn, and optimise marketing activity Lead cross-functional teams to deliver best in class marketing to chosen audience groups driving forward new ideas and innovative ideas Collaborate with stakeholders across the Brand and Marketing function, other parts of the business and external agencies About you Experience of working in the financial services industry and understanding the legislative framework - including propositions and distribution models Developing communications to support new business acquisition desirable, but not essential Excellent understanding of marketing communication tools and techniques Proven track record of effective stakeholder management Excellent project management and communication skills Experience of planning and running large integrated marketing campaigns including budget and risks. Strong understanding of how to apply brand and language guidelines.
