What skills and experience we're looking for
Please note that this role is not for Kilnwood Vale Primary School- it is for the GLF Schools Teaching School Hub.
GLF Schools are seeking an ambitious, dynamic and innovative part time Assistant Director of the Teaching School Hub to work with us on a fixed term contract until the end of July.
Your Opportunity
The Assistant Director of the Teaching School Hub (TSH) will play an essential role in delivering high-quality teacher development initiatives across West Sussex. This position will be responsible for several key areas within the Teaching School Hub framework, contributing to the strategic and operational development of Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Teaching School Hubs (TSHs) are school-led centres of excellence in professional development, delivering training and support to teachers and school leaders at every stage of their career. TSHs deliver the 'golden thread' reforms and are at the forefront of the national professional development infrastructure. They play a significant role in delivering the Early Career Framework (ECF), National Professional Qualifications (NPQs), school-based Initial Teacher Training (ITT) and have a role in signing off early career teachers' induction.
At GLF Schools, we strive for an inclusive environment where staff, children and students are comfortable to express their own identity, should they wish, in which diversity and inclusion is of mutual benefit for everyone. We particularly welcome applicants from under-represented groups including those based on race, sex, gender reassignment, age, disability, sexual orientation or religion/belief.
Please read the Job Description and Person Specification carefully before making your application.
This is a fixed term contract from end of January to end of July 2025, to cover a maternity leave.
