Are you a passionate and motivated Speech and Language Therapist eager to make a significant impact? We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Speech and Language Therapist to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary team at Stanmore House School and Corseford School.
About the Role
As the Lead Speech and Language Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality therapy services to children and young people within our educational settings. This position involves leading and managing the Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) services across both schools, including line managing staff and overseeing a student education programme.
You will be responsible for ensuring a comprehensive Speech and Language service is provided, supporting a diverse range of needs across various settings. While there is currently no team in place, the role will involve preparing for the future leadership of the SLT services following the retirement of the current lead.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and manage SLT services across Stanmore House School and Corseford School.
2. Provide line management and support to SLT staff.
3. Develop and oversee the student education programme.
4. Ensure the delivery of a high-quality Speech and Language service tailored to the needs of children and young people.
