Job Role Overview
Peverel Green Care Home, located near Hatfield Peverel, is a vibrant community dedicated to providing personalized care and enriching experiences for up to 60 residents. The environment offers arts & crafts, dance classes, tranquil gardens, and cosy lounges, fostering a joyful, connected, and warm atmosphere where every resident is treated like family.
What does the role involve?
1. Building friendships with residents to help them adjust to life in the care home.
2. Providing high-quality personal and psychological care professionally.
3. Maintaining effective communication with the Manager, Senior Care Assistants, Chef, and relatives to ensure smooth operations and cooperation.
4. Completing necessary records to a satisfactory standard, in agreement with the manager on a monthly basis.
5. Maintaining confidentiality of clients, staff, and business information at all times.
6. Planning daytime and evening activities for residents.
7. Being aware of and adhering to Health and Safety requirements.
8. Coordinating the activities program with other services and creating a monthly planner.
9. Encouraging resident participation in activities, documenting outcomes, and supporting residents in pursuing their hobbies and interests by creating resident profiles.
10. Working individually and as part of a team to provide backup for all staff, aligning with the home's aims and residents' needs.
