A Secondary school in Worsley, Salford is seeking a dedicated and passionate Behaviour Mentor / Sports Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday 8:30 - 3:30pm.
About the Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor / Sports Coach, you will play a crucial role in supporting primary aged students with a wide range of complex needs. You will:
* Inspire through Sport: Lead engaging sports sessions and activities, fostering physical fitness and teamwork.
* Guide and Support: Work closely with students, providing guidance and support to manage challenging behaviours and improve mental health.
* Enhance Learning: Assist in PE lessons across all age groups, promoting physical education and healthy lifestyles.
* Empower Students: Offer classroom support in various subjects, helping students reach their full potential.
What We're Looking For:
* Sports Enthusiast: Experience leading or assisting with sports sessions.
* Passion for Mental Health: A keen interest in supporting young people's mental well-being.
* Behaviour Management Skills: Proven ability to manage challenging behaviours and special educational needs.
* PE Expertise: Confidence in assisting with PE lessons across different age groups.
* Immediate Availability: Ready to start immediately on a full-time, long-term basis.
