This role requires attention to detail, high-quality workmanship, and the ability to think creatively to solve complex challenges. Occasional off-site work on larger projects is also part of this role. Responsibilities / Duties: Perform MIG, TIG (all materials), and MMA welding tasks to a high standard Undertake fabrication and repair work on buckets, attachments, and plant machinery Ensure all work complies with or exceeds OEM specifications through adherence to quality control processes Use gas/plasma cutting tools effectively Problem-solve and think creatively to address unique fabrication challenges Work independently and proactively within a fast-paced workshop environment Occasionally work off-site on larger repair or fabrication projects Adhere to health and safety regulations Requirements / Skills: Minimum of 2 years of welding and fabrication experience Proficient in MIG, TIG, and MMA welding Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think "outside the box" Experience with gas/plasma cutting tools (desirable) Full clean UK driving licence and own transport Immaculate timekeeping and reliability Coding certification (preferred) Other Points: Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 16:30 with one hour for lunch. Saturday work will be available for overtime as and when required, and will be paid at 1.5x hourly rate. This is a full-time, in-person role with opportunities to work on diverse and challenging projects
