Role Purpose
As a Senior Social Media Executive, you’ll work alongside a core team of Social Media Managers and Content Creators, as well as Strategy and Creative teams to plan, create and manage social channels across client accounts and projects. You will be responsible for reactive and proactive community management across channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, YouTube and Linkedin. You will also be responsible for social media operations including publishing, calendar and asset management, data & insight.
This role is most suited to a candidate who is passionate about audience development, building community in social and of course being passionate about social media marketing and internet culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Creating content
* Developing and publishing content that meets brand guidelines and is suitable for different platforms and audiences
Managing social media channels
* Handling day-to-day social media tasks, such as responding to posts and developing discussions
* Owning the scheduling and publishing of all content, both natively and through Social Media Management tools
* Proactively identifing and reacting in a timely nature to tactical & trending opportunities
Community Management
* Owning daily community experience; reactive and proactive community management that builds diehard communities cross-platform
* Methodically plan and craft all captions, in line with brand TOV, for all publishing plans across all social platforms
* Extensive copywriting experience delivered consistently
Analysing metrics
* Tracking and analysing social media data to improve strategies and understand how to engage the audience
* Tracking results, compiling regular reports and delivering in-depth analytics to clients
* Monitor trends in social media tools, apps, channels, design and strategy
Building relationships
* Building relationships with the client and brand partners to get the best out of the work
Managing campaigns
* Developing, launching, and managing social media campaigns and competitions
Optimising content
Optimising content to encourage community engagement
Background and experience:
● Experience and understanding of all core social platforms such as Meta, Tiktok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Pinterest
● Experience developing social media strategies and building robust engaged communities
● Excellent copywriting skills that take into consideration a client's tone of voice
● Excellent interpersonal skills
● Keen eye for detail
● Ability to wrangle data into actionable insights to drive growth and enhancement of a clients’ social footprint.
