Fundraising Officer
Autism Together is a growing provider of residential, supported living and day services, and we are looking to recruit a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills to work within the Fundraising Team.
The postholder will support the Head of Fundraising in delivering the Fundraising Strategy to raise funds that are used for the furtherance of facilities and resources for people with autism.

We are looking for an individual, who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, to establish and maintain good working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be able to support the Head of Fundraising in the development, implementation, monitoring and assessment of a revenue-generating programme for capital appeals and other fundraising projects.
Many fundraising activities are held during evenings or weekends so the post may involve working ‘unsociable’ hours.
What you will be doing…
* Supporting the Head of Fundraising to identify and pursue new fundraising opportunities that align with the charity’s mission and strategic objectives.
* Supporting the Head of Fundraising to create, develop and manage long-lasting relationships with major donors and corporate partners.
* To liaise with all community fundraisers providing advice, support, relevant merchandise and equipment, and ensuring they are thanked.
* With the aid of the fundraising database, develop the charity’s supporter network, improving retention and acquisition levels.
* Collaborate with other teams within the organisation specifically Communications and Marketing, to align marketing, impact and fundraising efforts to secure increasing funds.
* Oversee daily duties including:
* Thanking donors
* Running of lottery licenses
* Managing Just Giving pages
* Banking of income, recording it and passing to Finance

Hours of work, 30 hours per week, to be worked across a 5 day period (Monday to Friday), rota to be discussed at interview.
The postholder will be expected to travel to sites around services independently and will need use of their own vehicle with business use (compensatory mileage will be paid).
