As a Learning Support Assistant, your role will be pivotal in helping students with learning difficulties or disabilities reach their full potential. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you’ll provide individualized assistance, ensuring all students can access the curriculum and thrive in their learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supporting students one-to-one or in small groups to aid their learning.
* Assisting students with disabilities to fully engage with the curriculum.
* Helping teachers plan and deliver lessons that cater to all learners.
* Monitoring student progress and sharing updates with teachers and parents.
* Offering pastoral care and emotional support to students as needed.
* Supporting administrative tasks, such as maintaining records and preparing learning materials.

Minimum Requirements:
* A degree (2:1 or above) from a reputable university.
* Experience with SEN/SEMH/SEND students.
* Passionate about education and supporting students with additional needs.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
* A team player with strong organizational skills, reliability, and a flexible approach.
