We create world-class exhibitions and live events for clients all over the world. We typically deliver 200+ events per year across 6 continents.
Most of our team are based in Bristol and North Devon. We also have offices in London, San Francisco and Singapore. We work with a range of B2B clients across most industry sectors, from leading brands through to Government departments, and our events include anything and everything, from conferences and exhibitions, through to product launches, brand activations and roadshows.
Role
About the role:
We are seeking a tenacious and creative Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team at Bray Leino Events. We are looking for a candidate with a background in sales and marketing, and importantly loves the events industry. You will be responsible for helping to grow our business, managing marketing campaigns, and contributing to developing strategies to increase brand awareness.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
1. Lead Generation: Identify and develop new business opportunities by researching potential clients within our target sectors aligned to the new business strategy.
2. Show Walks: Head to key shows across the globe to connect with prospects in person, subsequently building and maintaining strong, long-lasting client relationships.
3. Proposal Creation: Create and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients, ensuring alignment with their event objectives.
4. Sales Reporting: Track and report on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasts, providing regular updates to senior management.
5. CRM System: Manage the CRM system, ensuring all contacts are relevant, up to date and importantly connected with on a regular basis.
Marketing:
1. Campaign Management: Plan and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social media, email) to tell our story and connect with clients and prospects.
2. Content Capture: Collaborate with the event delivery team to capture content on site at events and conduct post event content debriefs.
3. Content Creation: Oversee the creation of engaging content for the agency's website, blog, social media, case studies and credentials decks.
4. Social Media Management: Manage and grow the agency's social media presence, engaging with audiences, posting regular updates, and using analytics to drive performance.
5. Market Research: Conduct market research to stay ahead of trends in the events industry, keep on the pulse of competitor activity, and discover new opportunities.
6. Awards Submissions: Track the most relevant industry awards, collate the necessary information and compile submissions, engaging with the Senior Copy Writer.
7. Brand Consistency: Ensure that all marketing materials and communications reflect the agency's brand values, tone, and messaging.
About the person:
We are looking for someone with significant experience in sales and marketing, a demonstrable ability to close deals, meet targets, and build strong client relationships. Experience crafting multi-channel marketing strategies across digital, print, and social platforms, with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a flair for creativity.
Strong project management skills and proficiency in tools like CRM systems, social media platforms, Canva, Google Analytics, and MS Planner are essential. Experience with Adobe Suite is a plus, though a willingness to learn is equally valued. You should be approachable, confident, and resilient, with a talent for networking and identifying new business opportunities.
Flexibility to travel across the UK and internationally as and when required. Reasonable adjustments will be made to accommodate personal needs.
