About Our Client
Our client provides skip hire, demolition & waste removal services throughout the South East of England. The role will be based at the prestigious facility in the Maidenhead & Windsor area.
Job Description
You will have the following responsibilities:
1. Responsible for safe and efficient running of waste management and recycling within the waste transfer station.
2. Controlling production input and output, ensuring processes run smoothly and managing expectations.
3. On-site health & safety monitoring and ensuring compliance with legislation.
4. Controlling budgets and attending meetings.
5. Direct interface with clients to assist with the resolution of customer concerns.
6. Work to improve site layout and operations.
7. Sampling/analysis of waste where required.
8. Write and implement operational policies to provide continuous improvement.
9. Management and development of MRF various staff.
10. Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
1. Strong commercial understanding of waste recycling.
2. Knowledge of relevant health and safety policies and procedures.
3. Self-motivated as well as a good motivator.
4. Confident and effective people management skills.
5. Be open to and encourage change.
6. Be proactive and constructive in problem solving and conflict management.
7. Be approachable and professional.
