As we continue delivering expert solutions to our clients, we are now seeking Process Engineers with a background in clean water process engineering to join the team. Based from our offices in Leeds, Warrington or Newcastle, you will join a multidisciplinary team, with an active social calendar and a supportive culture. As a contributing member of our team of global experts, you will use your knowledge and experience to deliver innovative, sustainable, and efficient engineering solutions for our clients and the communities around us. This will include optimising existing treatment works, developing solutions for emerging concerns such as PFAS, and addressing specific regulatory drivers including nitrate, taste and odour issues through catchment and or treatment interventions. The role requirements are to: - Provide technical expertise to multi-disciplinary project teams during the problem definition and optioneering phases of design projects; - Identify opportunities for innovation to meet investment budgets, deliver carbon net-zero and environmental drivers; - Work on process design deliverables such as root cause analyses, optioneering slide decks and or reports, process models, mass balances and P&IDs; - Maintain Stantec's high quality standards by working within and contributing to our Quality Assurance process; - Make a measurable difference in an area that effects our communities today. About you To be considered for this opportunity you will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in Chemical or Process Engineering (or other relevant subject) with experience within the water industry. You must also be a member of a relevant engineering institution i.e. IChemE, CIWEM. You will be passionate about water, with problem solving and process auditing skills, and experience designing and optimising water treatment processes.
