Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage the organization's health and safety strategy.
Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure that preventive measures are in place.
Lead the health and safety committee and facilitate regular meetings.
Provide training and support to staff on health and safety best practices.
Investigate accidents and incidents, compiling reports and recommending improvements.
Collaborate with senior management to ensure health and safety goals align with business objectives.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in health and safety management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
Certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH,IOSH) is highly desirable.
Proven track record of developing effective health and safety programs and training.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £35.56
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
