Key Responsibilities:
International Treasury Operations and Payment Efficiency
* Manage and execute international payments, including wire transfers, foreign currency transactions, and cross-border settlements.
* Coordinate with banking partners and payment service providers to ensure accurate, timely processing.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline and automate payment processes, driving efficiency through technology.
* Resolve discrepancies related to payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
* Prepare regular reports on international payment activities, trends, and performance.
Bank Fee Analysis and Treasury Expense Optimisation
* Analyse global bank fees to identify discrepancies, errors, or unnecessary charges.
* Develop an in-depth understanding of banking relationships, fee structures, and contractual agreements.
* Prepare reports on cost-saving opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to management.
* Support the negotiation of fee structures and contractual terms with financial institutions.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to bank fees and financial reporting.
Global Operational Forecasting and Treasury Systems
* Lead ongoing improvements to the international cash forecasting model.
* Partner with divisions to understand country-specific cash flows and timing.
* Utilise Treasury Workstations to provide business performance analysis and update rules for automated cash reporting.
* Manage the expansion of treasury systems, including payment modules, netting, and reporting, across new countries and banks.
Qualifications Required:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
* Proven experience in financial modelling, forecasting, or treasury operations in a large organisation.
* Proficiency with Treasury Workstations (e.g., Kyriba, BI tools) and financial reporting systems.
* Strong analytical skills with a track record of creating detailed, actionable reports for leadership.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Advanced IT and Excel skills, with expertise in cash modelling and reporting.
* Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* Knowledge of global banking regulations and compliance requirements.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.
