We have an exciting opportunity for a Deputy Nursing Home Manager to join our team at a well-established and highly regarded care home based in Great Yarmouth. About the Role: As the Deputy Nursing Home Manager, you will support the Home Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our 42-bed facility, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our residents. This is an ideal role for an experienced nurse or senior nurse with a strong desire to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact in a compassionate, resident-centered environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. Provide leadership and support to the care team, fostering a culture of excellence, compassion, and teamwork. Oversee care delivery, ensuring it meets the individual needs and preferences of our residents. Ensure that care plans and assessments are regularly reviewed and updated. Monitor and maintain health and safety standards within the home. Lead and mentor nursing and care staff, promoting ongoing professional development. Build strong relationships with families and external professionals. Assist in recruitment, staff supervision, and training. Key Skills and Experience: Registered Nurse (RN, RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with a valid NMC pin. Previous experience in a senior nursing or leadership role within a care home setting. Strong understanding of CQC standards and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. A compassionate and person-centered approach to care.
