Job summary Full time 37.5 hours - Mon - Fri (with some weekends, within contracted hours) Are you looking for an exciting new position? Do you want to become part of our expanding Therapy Service? We are excited to offer an opportunity to join our existing support team working across our two sites. The successful candidate will receive the necessary training to enable them to support both Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services. They will also complete the Care Certificate which is a transferable qualification. This role will include working alongside our qualified Therapists, Technicians and Assistant Practitioners delivering a high standard of treatment to our post-operative patients. In addition to this, it will involve rotation to our out-patient services in the gymnasium and hydrotherapy settings. This post will give the successful candidate experience of both clinical and non-clinical working. Main duties of the job You will rotate around our physiotherapy out-patient areas including hydrotherapy and gymnasium and our in-patient wards. Whilst working in our out-patient areas, you will be responsible for welcoming patients to the department, ensuring the smooth running of appointments and taking an active role in maintaining the safety of treatment areas, in addition to assisting with classes as required. On the wards you will assist with the treatment of post-operative patients, practice prescribed exercises and activities of daily living and again, ensure the safety of patient areas and equipment.
