Monarch Education are working with a Secondary School in Nottingham who are looking for a full-time Cover Supervisor to start in January 2025. This role will be long-term, until the end of the academic year. The school are looking to appoint a dedicated and reliable Cover Supervisor to support the teaching and learning across various subjects. The successful candidate will manage classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students stay engaged and maintain a positive learning environment. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Supervising classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 in the absence of the regular teacher Ensuring that students are following lesson plans and completing assigned work Maintaining a calm, focused, and productive classroom environment Supporting students with their learning and providing guidance as needed Ensuring that school policies and behaviour management strategies are consistently applied Communicating effectively with teachers and school leadership to ensure continuity in lessons The school welcomes applications from candidates with experience working with secondary school students. While no formal teaching qualification is required, previous experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is desirable.
