We’re currently recruiting for a Pet Care Centre (PPC) Marketing Manager to join our team, based at our Support Office in Handforth. This is a hybrid role, working Tuesdays and Wednesdays from the office, with monthly travel to our Pet Care Centres.
As PCC Marketing Manager you'll be a crucial player in delivering compelling audio, digital, and printed assets to support campaigns, promotions, events, and category launches. As we introduce our new brand across in-store assets, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our entire store network.
Key Responsibilities – What you’ll be doing
1. Create, execute, and manage our shopper marketing activity in support of our wider marketing plan
2. Deeply understand the store environment and shopper behaviours - their missions, needs and shopping behaviours to effectively cater to them
3. Working closely with the wider marketing team and trading team execute shopper marketing campaigns covering the brief, creative development, artwork sign off, print allocations, store communications and end-to-end reviews
4. Work closely with retail operation teams to communicate campaigns to retail colleagues to enable them to deliver first-class execution
5. Work collaboratively with creative and print suppliers to deliver campaigns to each Pet Care Centre, right first time
6. Manage multiple projects at once, working with various stakeholders across the business to manage their expectations against the original brief
7. Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and to brand guidelines
About You – What you’ll bring to the role
8. 2 year’s minimum experience within POS
9. Possess instore marketing experience, ideally within a leading UK retailer, and have a strong understanding of print
10. Customer focused to ensure communications help them shop
11. Have the highest attention to detail and focused on right first time delivery
12. Exhibit project management skills, capable of overseeing projects from initiation to completion, handling multiple stakeholders, and delivering on time and within budget
13. Demonstrate resilience and tenacity, with a proven record of delivering impactful in-store marketing activations
14. Showcase strong commercial acumen, generating tangible results through effective marketing endeavours
15. Thrive as a team player with excellent collaboration skills, able to build rapport with diverse stakeholders including the commercial team, specialists, and operations teams
16. Display exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, influencing and engaging stakeholders at various levels
17. Possess experience in briefing agencies, meticulous in proofing copy and creative
18. Exhibit an inquisitive mindset and a passion for continuous learning and professional growth within the team and the wider business
