The contract is workshop based and FCAW experience is essential as well as experience working on carbon steel.
Candidates will be required to undertake an inhouse weld test before moving onto the contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) on carbon steel
Ensure high-quality welds in compliance with industry standards
Work in a 6G welding position, adhering to safety and operational protocols
Collaborate effectively with the team to achieve project goals
Maintain and troubleshoot welding equipment as necessary
Adhere to project timelines and work schedules
Job Requirements:
FCAW experience ideally in marine/oil & gas or other heavy industries
Strong understanding of welding safety procedures and protocols
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance skills
Effective communication and teamwork abilitiesRate of pay - £33.48/h Umbrella co or £25/h PAYE plus £3.02/h holiday pay (which can either be accrued or advanced)
Hours - 46 (4 x 10's Mon - Thurs, 6 Fri), with possible weekend working.
