Following a number of successful frameworks bids across the water industry, and in preparation for the biggest AMP ever, our client is are expanding their amazing engineering teams across the country.
In the North West they are excited to have been appointed to United Utilities' £269 million Design Development Partners framework.
As part of this exciting new delivery vehicle, they will deliver both outline and detailed design for projects to reduce spills from Combined Sewer Overflows, create improvements in river quality & bring new storage solutions to support United Utilities' AMP8 commitments.
They have also been selected on Yorkshire Water's Storm Overflow Alliance, to deliver their AMP8 capital investment programme.
In order to continue providing clients with their expert service, they are looking to recruit Senior & Principal Civil Engineers into their teams in Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, Warrington, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
As a Senior or Principal Civil Engineer, you will work across the entire project lifecycle in asset planning, strategy, concept design, outline design & detailed design. You'll take on responsibility for the leadership & mentoring of Engineers in the team, and work alongside their overall project design leads to ensure successful project delivery. You will also have access to our clients' world-class expertise to help you deliver leading edge design, whilst supporting & mentoring more junior engineers.
About You
Our client is interested in speaking with passionate engineers with extensive design experience in the UK water industry.
You'll have a degree in Civil Engineering and ideally hold Chartered status with a relevant professional body such as ICE or CIWEM.
You will have gained experience delivering community focused projects, whilst working collaboratively with project teams to delivery innovative solutions.
Our client will support your growth & development through training & project exposure, though prior experience within storm overflows, SUDS, surface water management & sewage treatment would be beneficial.
