Pay Rate: £22.69 per hour (Umbrella Rate)

Are you an organised and proactive professional with a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills? Service Care Solutions is recruiting for a Fire Safety Improvement Coordinator to join the team at Thames Valley Police HQ South. This is a pivotal role supporting the planning and implementation of a Fire Safety Improvement Programme across the force's 160 sites.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordination: Gather fire safety information and documentation for each site and building.
2. Implementation Support: Assist in implementing a Fire Marshal process in collaboration with Health & Safety SPOCs.
3. Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and report on the progress of actions required for programme implementation.
4. Issue Escalation: Identify and escalate blockers or issues to the Health & Safety Team.
Essential Skills and Requirements:
1. Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively across multiple teams and levels.
2. Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
3. Strong attention to detail.
4. A proactive approach to gathering documentation, including Building Plans and Emergency Procedures.
5. A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across the force area.
Desirable Skills:
1. Interest or experience in Health & Safety or Fire Safety (not essential).
