As a Technical Specialist (Wastewater) at Last Mile, you will lead the delivery of the asset adoption process for wastewater projects. Your role will involve ensuring asset quality throughout the construction phase and overseeing the completion of asset vesting and adoption in line with industry regulations, legislative requirements, and Last Mile standards.
Collaborating closely with the Wastewater Adoption Manager and the wider business, you will help shape and execute the integration of wastewater asset adoption activities into Last Mile Asset Management (LMAM). Your work will ensure that the process is seamlessly aligned with LMAM's operations, customer needs, and wastewater utility standards.

Your responsibilities as a Technical Specialist (Wastewater):
Promote and build a strong sense of Last Mile identity across the wastewater asset adoption team.
Support and develop the LMAM asset adoption team to deliver LMAMs key objectives.
Offer technical support to our business development teams whilst building relationships with key stakeholders.
Ensure asset compliance through the technical construction and installation standards for adoption
Be solution focussed to assist and remove barriers that aid Last Mile as being the adopter of choice.
Assist with the development of LMAMs asset adoption capability for business
Experience / Knowledge:
Wastewater adoption, construction or engineering background.
Experience in a similar technical wastewater role
Knowledge of core operational functions and principles, including health and safety standards, design and construction guidance, adoption regulations and wastewater network management.
Ability to analyse, improve existing operational processes and systems for maximum efficiency, productivity, and resilience.
Demonstrable experience of delivering continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Educated to HNC or degree level is preferable but not essential or working towards industry qualification.
