Oaklands College is seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of IT to lead the strategic and operational IT agenda, propelling us towards becoming a comprehensive smart campus that caters to the needs of our students, staff, and stakeholders.
As the Director of IT, you will be at the forefront of transforming Oaklands College’s technological landscape. Reporting to the Deputy Principal of Finance, Resources & College Planning, you will deliver a solutions-focused function by modernising our infrastructure, leading cybersecurity initiatives, and enhancing our business intelligence capabilities. Your efforts will define the digital transformation agenda, directly impacting curriculum provision and improving learner outcomes.
Required Skills
1. Experience within senior IT leadership roles with an outstanding achievement record of true business and functional partnering used to execute the whole end-to-end IT lifecycle in a customer-centric and dynamic operational environment.
2. Proven experience of conceiving and delivering IT strategies, aligned to an overarching organisational vision, whilst influencing strategic decisions at board level that have College-wide implications.
3. Evidence of IT innovation to identify opportunities where technology can drive operational efficiencies and effectiveness
