We are currently seeking to recruit a Training Administrator to join the Daimler Truck Training Team.
This role will report directly into the Head of Training and the successful candidate will play a key role in all aspects of training administration including course scheduling, Daimler Truck Dealer engagement, maintaining learning records, planning new training programmes, arranging training off site and support consultations with dealer managers to create development plans.
The Training Administrator will be highly organised with an excellent eye for detail. They will possess exceptional customer service skills, and ideally have previous experience within a learning and development department. Applicants should be forward thinking and possess a real can do attitude. IT skills are essential including a good understanding of Excel.
The Daimler Truck Training Administrator is responsible both for the promotion and administration of training for the UK dealer network covering all staff roles across technical, sales, leadership, customer service and parts.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Schedule delegate attended and virtual (online) training sessions, issuing joining instructions and maintaining attendance records
* Respond proactively to non-attendance, and communicate with dealers and trainers
* Report training bookings and course fill and scheduling updates to the Head of Training
* Provide a consistent high level of customer service at all times by phone, email, and in person
* Provide Learner Management System (LMS) and Administrative support to the Daimler Truck Dealer Network
* Coordinate training room bookings in line with course demand
* Raise supplier purchase orders
* Update Daimler Truck LMS with delegate progression and PDP (Personal Development Plans) information
* Track delegate performance through accreditation pathways on the Daimler Truck LMS
* Manage a high volume of inbound/outbound calls and emails from the Dealer Network; including from Managers and Delegates, responding in agreed formats and timeframes
* Provide cover for training facility reception duties, as necessary and act as course host where required
* Follow all agreed Quality Assurance and Risk Management systems and comply with all policies and procedures (e.g. Health and Safety) and ensure that these policies are followed
* Actively support company policy and best practice including security, with particular emphasis on protection of learner and customer sensitive information

* Contribute to process of continual improvement within the Daimler Truck Training department
Essential Personal Qualities, Qualifications & Skills:

* Strong communication (written & verbal) and organisational skills
* Excellent time management
* The ability to communicate with a variety of people within a fast-paced environment

* Good attention to detail
* A proficient user of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
* Experience of using a Learning Management system (Desired)
* Previous experience within a learning and development department (Desired)
Normal place of work: Daimler Truck Academy Wentworth Park, Tankersley / Daimler Truck Academy, Derby. On occasions, there will also be times when it may be necessary to work from alternative locations, alternative Daimler Truck facilities and retailers, and other sites as necessary to perform the role.
Salary: Up to £24,000 depending on experience. 25 Days Paid Annual Leave. Calex Employee Benefits Package (inc. High Street Discounts, Online GP, Welfare Scheme).
