Brief Description
In this Business Change Manager role, you will lead the delivery of change programmes in line with the Eastern regional improvement objectives. Strong interpersonal and negotiating skills are vital given the senior audiences we are required to engage with.
Key Accountabilities
1. Deliver change projects in accordance to business standards across the Business community.
2. Lead the formulation of and transition plans for business change with the regional functions and stakeholders, agreeing all communications.
3. Develop and manage relationships with the business community and stakeholders to support the development of the project and to gain buy-in during project lifecycle.
4. Control project change and risks on business change tasks, and provide all costs, contingency and programme details to enable the sponsor to direct change strategy and engagement.
5. Provide detailed input for the compilation of the Business Plan and production of change and transition plans.
6. Liaise with the Information Management to deliver the effective implementation of appropriate technical solutions.
Essential Requirements
1. Experience of delivering business change on a large scale.
2. Understanding of Network Rail or similar industry.
3. Demonstrated credibility and impact with senior stakeholders.
4. Effective interpersonal skills and an ability to use influence to gain buy-in to enable change to happen through others.
5. A drive to deliver tangible outcomes which meet business requirements.
6. An ability to work well under pressure in a rapidly evolving environment.
7. Educated to degree level or equivalent.
8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Desirable Requirements
1. Commercial awareness.
2. Knowledge of Network Rail and the Rail Industry.
3. Consultancy or business transformation programme management experience.
4. Evidence of working in several different functions in a business change role.
