Job Description
We are seeking a talented and ambitious Chef to join our team at Chartwells on a full-time basis, working 37.5 hours per week.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and serve high-quality food that exceeds client and customer expectations.
* Oversee and implement menu changes to ensure continuous improvement.
* Identify opportunities to enhance our food services and act upon them.
* Listen and respond to customer feedback to consistently improve our food services.
* SUPPORT THE CREATION OF NEW MENUS AND CREATIVE FOOD CONCEPTS.
* Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image.
* Maintain inventory levels to keep kitchens well-stocked.
* Ensure kitchen cleaning responsibilities are met to maintain hygiene standards.
* Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations.
Requirements:
* PASSION FOR GREAT-TASTING FOOD AND EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
* Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent qualification.
* Experience supervising a team.
* Experience in a similar Chef role.
* Hold a Food Hygiene certificate.
* Flexible approach to working.
