Job Title: Pre Order Proposal Engineer
Location: Clevedon, Somerset
Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent, Hybrid Working Available
Role Overview:
This dynamic role involves producing design proposals and quotations for Hydro-Brake® Flow Controls. The position requires handling a steady influx of quotation requests from various sources, including the internet, emails, and sales representatives.
Skills & Attributes:
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills, with a professional and mature approach.
• Ability to adapt to customer requirements.
• Strong numeracy skills, with a basic understanding of calculations for quoting purposes.
• Quick-thinking and dynamic, capable of handling a fast-paced and repetitive workflow.
• Experience in internal sales and administration is beneficial.
• General IT competency; familiarity with CRM systems is an advantage.
Preferred Experience:
• Background in the water or drainage sectors is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and civil/drainage disciplines is a plus.
• Experience in basic technical sales is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responding to telephone, website, and email inquiries about stormwater management products.
• Producing designs, proposals, and quotations.
• Ensuring proposals are sent to clients within a reasonable timeframe.
• Negotiating pricing, terms, and delivery conditions with clients.
• Maintaining sales records for stormwater products.
• Updating and maintaining CRM/NAV database records for each proposal.
• Adhering to all relevant legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act.
• Complying with BS EN ISO 9001 standards as required.
• Performing additional duties as needed.
