Working at Freudenberg: We will wow your world Responsibilities: Provide continuous improvement and support of SAP variant configuration to develop solutions based on business requirements to maximize standard and customized SAP functionality Evaluate and recommend changes to the current SAP variant configuration setup to meet organizational needs Support business users with scoping, analysis, design, development, and implementation of standard and customized SAP variant configurator processes. Conduct SAP system configuration, testing, and related user training Create and update documentation covering SAP processes and implemented projects Monitor and resolve assigned IT SAP variant configurator tickets Lead change management activities related to system improvements and changes Coordinate with internal process owners on SAP variant configuration maintenance, optimization, and tasks Project management and roadmap execution for other engineering related applications including engineering design, product costing, and production related custom applications. Manage dotnet programmers supporting the related engineering applications Requires project management, budgeting, and status tracking skills Travel as required to Connectors and Sealing Solutions locations supporting SAP variant configuration and other engineering applications. Qualifications: Undergraduate degree in the field of computer science, information technology, business administration, engineering, or equivalent degree. 3-5 years of SAP Variant Configuration implementation/support experience required In-depth knowledge of SAP Variant Configurator with experience modeling variant configurations, setting up configurable product characteristics, classes, dependencies, BOMs, routings, configuration profiles, and pricing conditions. Manufacturing experience required and must have extensive knowledge of end-to-end business processes in a manufacturing facility Excellent understanding of project management principles, experience leading SAP VC projects, and willingness to work in cross functional teams Good communication skills with the ability to communicate across all departments and employee levels The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
