As part of the Research & Development team, you’ll work on mission-critical systems that drive global operations 24/7. You’ll be responsible for scaling and maintaining high-performance computing (HPC) environments, designing tools to enhance research capabilities, and supporting a state-of-the-art distributed computing infrastructure. Qualifications: Educational Background: BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related IT field. Experience: 5-10 years in systems engineering, with hands-on expertise in managing and troubleshooting large-scale infrastructure. Networking Expertise: Strong understanding of network protocols (OSPF, BGP, PIM, IGMP) and experience with Arista, Cisco, or similar devices. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Unix/Linux, packet analysis tools (tcpdump, Wireshark), and data center management (power, cooling, fiber optics). Automation & Development: Familiarity with tools like Ansible, Salt, Python, Prometheus, Grafana, and GitHub is a plus. Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking challenges. Collaboration & Communication: Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different audiences.
