Planner / Scheduler
Location: Salford, Manchester (Flexible working available)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm (40 hours per week)
We are working with a client who is looking for two Schedulers to join the Technical Services Centre (TSC) within the Operations team. The TSC ensures our nationwide team of engineers operates efficiently, safely, and effectively. In this role, you will schedule and coordinate planned and reactive maintenance while acting as a helpdesk operative.
What You'll Do:
* Plan and schedule national engineers to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
* Manage service requests from clients and engineers, ensuring timely job allocation.
* Take ownership of high-priority jobs and escalate issues as needed.
* Monitor engineer schedules, adjusting to meet demand and service level agreements.
* Ensure accurate data entry into Job Logic and customer portals.
* Support the contracts team and engineers with scheduling updates and workload planning.
* Assist with service administration tasks when required.
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in planning/scheduling remote, multi-site workforces.
* Strong geographical knowledge of the UK.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Experience in facilities management or a similar field is preferred.
* Strong IT skills, including Office 365, Excel, and Word.
* Ability to multitask, problem-solve, and work collaboratively.
* Must be commutable distance from Salford.
