Position Overview
We are seeking a Technical Product Owner to serve as the crucial link between our vision, customers, potential customers, design and Engineering teams. This role combines product vision with technical understanding and project management skills to ensure we deliver maximum value to our clients. You will work directly with customers to understand their needs, iterate on solutions, and drive product improvements while maintaining clear communication channels between all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Product Value
* Work directly with clients to iterate on features and improve product value
* Conduct outreach to professionals within our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) to understand pain points
* Research industry trends and competitive solutions to identify opportunities
* Gather qualitative and quantitative data on user needs and behaviours
* Translate customer insights into product requirements and feature priorities
* Advocating for the customer throughout the development process
* Weekly Account and Client Management
Technical Requirements Management
* Translate customer requirements into clear specifications for the development team
* Research and evaluate third-party tools and integrations to support development needs
* Conduct initial scoping of new features, including market research on existing solutions
* Prepare comprehensive documentation on potential technical solutions and integrations
* Document and maintain requirements throughout the project lifecycle
* Collaborate with engineers to understand technical feasibility and implementation approaches
Project Coordination
* Coordinate sprint planning and execution with the development team
* Track development progress and ensure adherence to project timelines
* Identify and escalate potential bottlenecks or delays
* Manage bug tracking and resolution processes
* Facilitate sprint retrospectives and progress meetings
Stakeholder Communication
* Provide regular status updates to Customer Success regarding implementation timelines
* Communicate technical constraints and possibilities to non-technical stakeholders
* Maintain transparent communication channels for project status and timeline updates
* Create and distribute progress reports to relevant stakeholders
Quality Assurance
* Monitor development quality and speed of implementation
* Review bug reports and ensure proper prioritization
* Coordinate testing efforts between development and customer success teams
* Ensured delivered solutions met customer requirements and quality standards
Required Qualifications
* 5+ years experience in customer research, roadmap and product management
* Client Management and Account Management Experience
* High-level understanding of technical implementation concepts (e.g., web applications, APIs, databases)
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge technical and non-technical discussions
* Experience with project management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., clickup)
* Strong research and analytical abilities
* Proven problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Working Relationships
* Reports to: CEO
* Works closely with the customer Success Team, Engineering Team, and Product Management
