Solicitor - Private Client - (1-2 Years PQE) My client, a reputable law firm based in Winchester, is seeking a Private Client Solicitor with 1-2 years’ PQE to join their Probate department. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse range of matters, including Probate, Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Trusts.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Take Will instructions, draft Wills, and oversee execution.
2. Manage Power of Attorney instructions, draft documents, and ensure execution.
3. Handle the administration of estates, preparing necessary legal documentation including Inheritance Tax forms and obtaining Probate.
4. Deal with the registration of estates and Trusts for TRS.
5. Respond to telephone enquiries and assist clients visiting the office.
6. Maintain compliance and risk procedures on all files.
7. Conduct legal research to ensure the accuracy of advice and documentation.
8. Stay updated on changes in law and maintain high standards of professional conduct.

Ideal Candidate:

1. Solicitor with 1-2 years’ PQE in Probate and related areas.
2. Strong communication skills with a client-focused approach.
3. Ability to manage a varied caseload while maintaining professionalism.
4. Proactive in promoting services and attracting new business.
