This role is a new and exciting opportunity to develop, alongside experienced pain MDT colleagues, a psychological service for individuals with complex pain needs across Mid and South Essex Trust.
The trust brings together four hospitals: Basildon, Broomfield, Southend, and Orsett. This is a leadership role overseeing the supervision and development of other psychological colleagues and facilitating psychological reflection to the wider team.
Your ongoing service delivery and personal and professional development will be supported by the management team within the pain service and the hospital-based psychological therapies service.
We are looking for a fully accredited and creative individual with experience working within the relevant health care setting.
This role is available on a part-time/job share basis.

3. Providing training and reflective practice to staff on relevant psychological and mental health issues.
4. Leading and providing a coherent approach to Pain Management services across the MSE.
5. Having experience and training in offering supervision and have offered consultation to a wide range of professionals.
6. Providing specialist input with clinical autonomy and working in ways which are sensitive to the needs of staff/patients from a wide range of racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
