Job Overview
An opportunity is available for an experienced, ideally time-served Tool Maker to join a dynamic team, focusing on the modification, repair, and maintenance of Injection and Compression moulding tools. The role requires expertise in CNC and manual machining equipment within a Toolroom environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Modify, repair, and maintain Injection and Compression moulding tools.
2. Operate and manage CNC and manual machining equipment efficiently.
3. Collaborate with the Toolroom Manager to ensure accuracy and efficiency in task completion.
4. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to manufacture high-precision tooling components.
5. Identify and resolve tooling-related issues during production.
6. Adhere to company safety and quality control standards.
Requirements
1. Proven experience as a Tool Maker, preferably in Injection and Compression moulding.
2. Proficiency in CNC and manual machining equipment.
3. Strong understanding of machining techniques and materials used in mould-making.
4. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
5. High attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity.
6. Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Desirable Skills
1. Experience in a Toolroom or precision engineering environment.
2. Knowledge of industry-standard health and safety regulations.
