Working with the Commercial Director, the Contracts Manager will manage senior level relationships within Local Authorities, Clinical Commissioning Groups and other key stakeholders, to ensure the parties meet contractual requirements.

* Contract Compliance: Ensure adherence to contract terms and milestones.
* Liaison: Primary contact for Local Authorities and CCGs.
* Strategic Partnership: Maintain strategic partnerships beyond contract end dates.
* Negotiation: Finalize commercial terms and variations.
* Risk Management: Assess and mitigate contractual risks monthly.
* Compliance Resolution: Resolve contract compliance issues.
* Tender Submissions: Lead tender submissions for new services.
* Social Value Initiatives: Develop initiatives to secure new contracts.
* Continuous Improvement: Manage contracts with a continuous improvement approach.
* KPI Reporting: Provide monthly KPIs.
* Performance Monitoring: Monitor and improve service levels and KPIs.
* Financial Monitoring: Monitor contract spend.
* Issue Management: Manage complex issues.
* Customer Interaction: Deliver exemplary customer interactions.
* Stakeholder Support: Support stakeholders with contractual matters.
* Coaching: Coach internal teams on contract understanding.
Profile
* Minimum 5 years' experience in development, drafting, structuring, negotiating and managing contracts.
* Proven experience in collaborating with internal stakeholders on the financial evaluation of proposals/opportunities from a cost and risk perspective.
* Proven experience of developing business cases or recommendations regarding business proposals
* Proven experience in leading and submitting tender submissions
* Experience of health and social care
* Experience of Local Authority contracts
