Teaching Personnel are working with a lovely SEN school in Raynes Park, London. The school is proud to support students with high functioning autism.
They are currently seeking an exceptional Maths Teacher to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis, starting as soon as possible
Candidates should have:
• An excellent teaching record
• Experience of the use of restorative practices and effective behaviour management skills as well as good rapport with vulnerable and challenging pupils, and those who have SEN
• Ability to monitor and review through self-evaluation, report writing and a clear system of record keeping
• Ability to teach flexibly, innovatively and responsively in a challenging environment
• Evidence of ability to successfully manage and support pupils with ASD
• The ability to plan and deliver outstanding teaching and learning for both individuals and small groups with high quality outcomes for all pupils
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE, or an equivalent teaching qualification. (Applications from Unqualified SEN teachers with proven experience will be considered)
Experience working with children and young people with SEN is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of SEN teaching strategies, with the ability to adapt approaches to suit individual needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to inclusive education.
Right to work in the UK.
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or the willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
