Maths Graduate Cover Supervisor – Full-Time Role Location: Levenshulme Contract: Full-time, starting after Easter until the end of the academic year Pay: £419.25 - £500 per week Teaching Personnel is seeking a confident and motivated Maths Graduate to join a Good Ofsted-rated secondary school in Levenshulme as a Cover Supervisor. The Role: As a Maths Graduate Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes in the absence of the teacher. This role requires strong classroom management skills, the ability to engage students in their learning, and a passion for supporting young people. Your key responsibilities will include: Delivering pre-planned lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, ensuring that learning continues in the absence of the class teacher. Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive and focused learning environment. Supporting students in understanding mathematical concepts and completing assigned tasks. Covering lessons in other subjects when required. Providing feedback on student progress and engagement to teaching staff. Assisting with intervention sessions or revision support within the maths department. The Ideal Candidate: We are looking for a Maths Graduate who: Holds a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject. Has a keen interest in education and working with young people. Is confident in managing a classroom and engaging students in learning. Has strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to different subjects when needed. Has previous experience working with young people in an educational, mentoring, or support capacity (desirable but not essential). Is proactive, organised, and eager to gain classroom experience.
