Job Description
Allen Lane are delighted to be supporting the London Borough of Newham in their search for a Change Manager. The role is key in supporting Newham’s Sovereign IT Programme as they split from OneSource shared IT Service and establish an IT Service for Newham. This role will be predominantly focused on driving behaviour and culture change within the IT service. This is a 12 month FTC which will be made permanent and is part of the newly formed structure.
The role
As a Change Manager you will:
* Lead on internal communications and engagement strategies to ensure clear and effective messaging throughout the transition
* Gather regular feedback from staff that can be used to inform engagement initiatives
* Create and execute strategies to foster a positive and inclusive culture within the DDaT team
* Regularly asses the impact of culture change initiatives making adjustments where necessary
* Lead on Diversity and inclusion initiatives to align with culture changes
* Establish and manage a network of change champions across DDaT
* Develop clear and consistent messages for various stakeholders within the organisation.
Key Skills required
As a Change manager you will have:
* Deep understanding of behaviour and culture change principles
* Strong knowledge of training and workforce development best practices.
* Expertise in internal communications and messaging strategies.
* Understanding of staff engagement techniques and wellbeing initiatives.
* Ability to lead and drive cultural change across an organisation.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex messages clearly.
* Ability to develop and deliver effective training programmes.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and motivate staff.
