Salary Starting from £46,485, rising to £55,295
This is an exciting opportunity to join an enthusiastic Students' Union Management team as Strategic Projects Manager.
We have the privilege of working alongside elected student officers and an amazing staff team to shape and deliver areas of work that will benefit students here and now and those in the future.
About the role
You will support the delivery of the students’ union's three-year strategy by ensuring that strategic projects are planned, resourced, implemented, and evaluated effectively.
The role will be key in developing effective programme and project management capability across the students’ union, through the management of projects championed and led by the senior leadership and management team.
You will:
* be student-focused and committed to working in a student-led democratic organisation
* have demonstrable experience of successful project management within a large organisation, including implementation, transition to ongoing services, and benefits realisation
* be a strategic thinker and solution provider
* have the ability to adapt quickly and exploit opportunities within a challenging and dynamic business environment
* possess excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to achieve results for multiple, simultaneous projects with competing demands.
