Parts Quality
The Parts Quality team is responsible for the Quality Assurance of Purchased Parts to Goodwood throughout the complete product cycle.
During your time in this role, you will have the opportunity to develop strong relationships with process partners. You will develop your Project Management skills by working cross functionally.
What awaits you?
1. Ensuring launch readiness at component level for the introduction of current and new models.
2. The Parts Quality activities within the concept Steering teams and at suppliers as part of the industrialisation process.
3. The management and containment of non-conforming supplied parts within the Rolls-Royce Plant.
4. The closed-loop problem resolution of Parts Quality problems with suppliers (incl. Field issues).
5. The management of supplier Parts Quality performance and implementation of corrective actions (incl. escalation, supplier performance improvement, requalification).
6. Managing the Parts Quality implications of running changes, supplier relocations and model run-out.
7. Tailored Parts Quality activities for bespoke features.
Qualifications and Experience
8. Studying towards a 2:2 Bachelor’s degree - preferably in Engineering or Business Management field.
9. Strong relationship building skills and ability to show good inter-personal skills, showing exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
10. Good organisational and time management skills, and ability to show high attention to detail to every task.
11. Ability to adapt working approach depending on specific requirements, prioritise activities, work under pressure, multi-task and solve problems.
12. An excellent team player who possesses solid interpersonal and organisational skills.
13. Experienced user of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
