Robert Half Finance and Accounting are excited to be partnering with a global Media company in Central London to recruit an immediate, Billings Clerk for a 1 year contract.
Role:
Our client is looking to recruit an immediate, Billings clerk for a 1 year contract.
Your responsibilities will consist of:
1. Ensuring adherence to the job opening process
2. Ensuring timely management and follow up on jobs with client teams
3. Explaining to client team how the job processes work on a client and why
4. Regular meeting with client teams to review open jobs
5. Working with SCA/CA to ensure best use of Maconomy for each client's specific needs
6. Billing to client on a timely basis, ensuring invoices are in line with client processes and internal processes
7. Keeping a log of Credit Notes and obtaining relevant sign off
8. Advising SCA if client teams are not following internal processes or not making themselves available for WIP reviews
9. Preparing reports on time value on jobs vs. fee invoiced for SCA/CA to review
10. Reviewing open PO's and advising teams to close where appropriate
11. Ensuring jobs are closed down correctly when necessary
12. Ensuring Project Manager has signed off on each closed job and reviewed the profitability
13. Ensuring job setup follows the Commercial Control guidelines and the necessary documentation is attached to it
14. Allocation of WIP balances on Maconomy
15. Reviewing FX gains/losses on the jobs and taking appropriate action to clear any balances
Profile:
The successful immediate Billings Clerk will have 2-3 years experience in billings and have worked within a time based business such as media, recruitment, consultancy or legal.
You must be either immediate or on a 1 week notice to be considered for this role.
Client:
Working within the Media & Advertising space, our client offers a 1 year contract which is hybrid working in Central London.
Salary & Benefits:
This immediate Billings Clerk role will be paying up to £38,000-40,000 per annum. This is dependant on experience.
