We are looking for a hands-on, execution-driven Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who thrives in high-growth, fast-paced environments. This role is a strategic yet hands-on leadership position responsible for defining and driving the company's technology vision, ensuring high engineering velocity without compromising stability, and fostering a culture of ownership, performance, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
* Technology Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s technology vision, strategy, and roadmap.
* Team Management & Culture: Lead and mentor a high-performing, distributed engineering team while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
* Execution & Delivery: Oversee the design, development, testing, and deployment of scalable and secure software systems. Ensure fast, efficient, and high-quality code delivery without bureaucratic slowdowns.
* Business & Product Alignment: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions that drive impact.
* Performance & Standards: Set high standards for code quality, performance, and deployment while maintaining a fast-paced development cycle.
* Continuous Improvement: Establish best practices for development, project management, and engineering processes, ensuring continuous optimization.
* Stakeholder & Budget Management: Manage the technology budget, allocate resources effectively, and build strategic partnerships with vendors and industry experts.
* Hands-on Leadership: While primarily strategic, be willing and able to dive into the codebase or technical problem-solving when needed.
What We’re Looking For
* Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
* 7+ years of professional experience working with React, Node.js, and WebSockets.
* 3+ years in a leadership role managing multiple engineering teams (product, core, bug fixes, etc.).
* Strong understanding of crypto/blockchain technologies.
* Experience in high-growth environments that require adaptability and quick decision-making.
* Experience in the financial or iGaming sectors (preferred).
* Track record of hiring, coaching high performers, and removing bottlenecks in engineering teams.
* Ability to set and maintain high standards while ensuring efficient, results-driven execution.
* Data-driven mindset, obsessed with speed, efficiency, and measurable impact.
