Responsibilities will include working closely with our IT managed service provider and providing IT support to our network of offices across the UK and assisting with the laptop build for the onboarding of new employees, deploying hardware, and contributing to IT projects. If you are passionate and proactive. This will be a great grounding in IT Support. Accountabilities Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems. Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve existing systems. Support the onboarding process for new employees including setting up workstations and providing IT orientation - we're on Office 365. Participate in IT projects and initiatives as required e.g. upgrades, testing, and deployment. Oversee ad-hoc general administrative tasks and respond to queries. Communicate IT solutions and support to colleagues in-person and via Teams. Liaise with our oursource helpdesk (Acora) to ensure employees queries are resolved in a timely fashion. Skills and Experience Minimum 1 year experience in an IT Support role. Expert knowledge of using and administering a Microsoft 365 environment including Microsoft Entra ID and InTune. Familiarity with working in an ITSM system (ServiceNow) and managing a workload of incidents and service requests. Good knowledge of and familiarity with Incident/Request management lifecycle and best practices. Comfortable working with a MSP (managed service provider) and multiple 3rd party support organisations. A keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and senior business users. Ability to diagnose and support general user issues.
