We're looking for a new Marketing Executive
This role is full-time and predominantly located at our Head Office at the Cruise Centre, Barlborough. We’re a friendly team, full of enthusiastic creative people who are passionate about the cruise and wider travel industry.
You’ll be joining our in-house marketing team, with a real focus on digital, and be responsible for a wide range of activity, including:
1. Responsible for maintaining our website content and keeping it up to date with regards to product updates and featured offers.
2. Managing online discount levels, overall pricing accuracy and supporting fare information for all featured cruise lines.
3. Managing the promotion and accurate application of cruise line promotional campaigns to maximise awareness and subsequent sales across the site.
4. Creating, managing and monitoring all Bolsover Cruise Club online promotional campaigns – such as voucher code and bonus cashback promotions.
5. Produce content to optimise the website and ensure a better user experience for our customers – from bespoke campaign landing pages to brand new cruise line, ship and destination content.
6. Work alongside our Website Manager and Insights Specialist to constantly improve our website performance and wider customer experience.
7. Work closely with our Insights Specialist to identify SEO opportunities and develop specific content to enhance our overall search position.
8. Assist our Insights Specialist with PPC campaign management and required content to support lead conversion.
9. Provide regular online competitor research and analysis (including price comparison) to key stakeholders within the business.
10. Reporting on digital campaign impact and ROI.
11. Liaising with our in-house design team to produce banners and graphics for online campaigns and promotions.
12. Liaising with our Social Media Executive and assisting with campaigns and content.
13. Working closely with our magazine editor, help project manage and proof-read each issue of our Into the Blue magazine – taking on the specific responsibility of managing the commitment from advertisers.
14. Proof reading wider marketing materials, such as email campaigns, flyers, letters etc.
You’ll need to work independently and be proactive in recognising new opportunities and routes to market as well as understand the different customer audiences we want to attract and the wide range of products we sell.
KEY SKILLS (mandatory) –
1. A good understanding of website Content Management Systems, ideally WordPress.
2. Confident working with both SEO & PPC strategies.
3. Good organisation, communication, and time management skills.
4. Excellent written English and IT skills, in particular, the Microsoft Office suite.
5. Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and ability to prioritise well.
KEY SKILLS (Highly desirable) –
1. Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite Package.
2. Blogging experience.
3. Knowledge of Google Analytics.
4. A creative eye and sense of humour.
Experience in or a passion for travel would be a real asset, but we’ll provide training in cruise product as well as how to use our marketing and CRM systems and platforms, so it’s very important you’re keen to learn and develop new skills.
Hours are 9-5:30, Monday to Friday, salary DOE.
